Faith

ID# : 100335

DWARF EARRED mixed

female young

A concerned person contacted the NJ House Rabbit Society regarding a white rabbit seen near a church in Bogota, NJ since the end of June. The police had no reports of a lost rabbit (not surprising). The neighbor that reported it contacted us to say it had shown up again at 6:30AM on July 11th. An hour later, we had her. She is small, young, and weighs 2.5 lbs. We estimate that she is no more than 5 months old. She got a clean bill of health at the vet. We will spay her in August. Faith is social, loves attention, and is easy to handle. She is rather bold, and will climb all over you, but is presently trying to boss around her foster mother by nipping to demand pets. This behavior is being worked on, but probably not a good match for children. She is not aggressive, never breaks skin, just insists that you use your hands to stroke her! She has a big personality for a little lady. Her litter box habits are decent and will improve further once she is spayed.
